David Zinger connects the strength of one with the power of many as a student, educator, speaker, coach, and consultant on work, engagement, and burnout . He founded and hosts the global 7500 member Employee Engagement Network. David fuses a down-to-earth Canadian prairie upbringing with a global reach. He has worked on leadership and engagement in Canada, Thailand, Bulgaria, Malaysia, United States, Poland, Wales, Turkey, Qatar, Germany, UAE, England, India, Spain, Singapore, and South Africa.

David is a prolific writer and author. He wrote 4 books on leadership, work, and engagement. His last book was People Artists: Drawing Out the Best From Others at Work. David wrote over 4000 blog posts and articles on work, engagement, management, and leadership. He is a regular contributor to the Toronto Manager. David taught Educational and Counselling Psychology at the University of Manitoba for 25 years.

David knows work and organisations from the inside out. He worked 15 years as the employee assistance counsellor and career development coach at Seagram, Ltd. David is focused on 4 elements of work in 2021: work engagement, engaging moments, extinguishing burnout, and powerful listening. David has a depth of understanding of many of the elements of the new workplace as he has experienced work burnout on two separate occasions and he has worked from home for 40 years.
